Dear ones, What a wonderful year it has been, having Reverend Anna as our interim rector! We are so grateful to her for her wise guidance, healing pastoral care, insightful and heartful preaching. Every week we have been together has been a blessing. With Anna’s help, Good Shepherd has gotten to the point in the transition process where we will soon be accepting applications for our new rector! This summer, the vestry—together with some additional volunteers—has been working on the final elements of the different reports that are required for the transition process. I’m excited about our next vestry meeting on August 16, when we will have the opportunity to take a look at everything that has been created! We are in excellent shape to head into this final stage of the transition process, and Anna will continue to guide us through the end of October.
