Take a deep breath and let it out with a sigh! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday for the annual meeting. Can you believe that this is my last update as your Senior Warden?
I’ll be presenting the warden’s report as a sermon at the 10:30 service (and will share it out in writing in the eVoice next week). After church, we’ll immediately transition into the annual meeting, which will be in a hybrid format (in person & via Zoom) so that everyone can attend. The agenda will include a junior warden’s report, which will center around our rector search; a worship committee report with an open discussion about the different forms of worship we have been experimenting with; a finance report, giving highlights of where we currently stand and what we can expect as we move forward; and the election of our new Senior Warden and vestry members. There will also be time for Q&A with the current vestry.
After the meeting, we will transition immediately into a joyful Black History Month luncheon - don’t forget to bring some food to share. (And bring some canned/dry goods from your pantry as well—we need to restock.)
