Eternal Father,
You are rich in mercy, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. We stand in awe of the depth of Your compassion. Lord, we ask not only to receive Your mercy but also to embody it in the world. Let Your Spirit shape us into vessels of grace, so that our words may heal and not wound, and our actions may bless and not harm. We remember the poor, the brokenhearted, the weary, and the forgotten. Pour out Your compassion upon them, O Lord. Use our hands, our prayers, and our lives to extend Your care to those who hunger for kindness. And when we falter, when we grow weary of showing mercy, remind us of how freely You forgive us and renew our strength to forgive again. Keep us rooted in Your compassion, so that the world may see in us a reflection of Your heart. We ask this in the name of Christ, who is mercy made flesh. Amen.
